ROOM 01 · ON ARRIVAL

On Arrival.

We meet you at the gate. A car. A quiet hotel. Your name, already on the key.
— AIRPORT · DRIVER · HOTEL

The first hour is the one everyone remembers. For most, it is the hour of a passport queue, an airport stranger holding a printed placard that misspells a name, and a taxi line that understands neither the language nor the destination.

For you, it is the hour we have been quietly working on for the last three weeks. The driver knows the flight number by heart. The car is a black Genesis G90, and it is waiting at the kerb the minute your plane touches the runway — not the minute you clear customs.

The hotel is a quiet corner suite, usually on a high floor, chosen with the same care we would choose our own parents' room. Your name is already on the key. A low brass lamp is already on. The room smells faintly of cedar. There is a small envelope on the desk with the concierge's direct line in your language.

And then — and this is the part that is hardest to explain on a website — we leave you alone. You sleep. You do not have to make a single decision about dinner, or about directions, or about what tomorrow will look like. Tomorrow has already been written down somewhere, and we will remind you of it in a note slipped under the door at 9 a.m.
